Moriba Cummings is a journalist and experienced editor with a vast background in commerce, feature and entertainment journalism. He has worked in editorial spaces since 2011, kicking off his career at CNN and HLN and has since written and edited for several outlets including BET.com, Yahoo! and In The Know.
Throughout his career in entertainment journalism, Moriba has interviewed actors, musicians, product founders, small business owners, BIPOC brand creators and more for several profiles, commerce editorials, reviews and more. He is also vastly experienced in the product testing space and has written and produced several first-person reviews for Yahoo Lifestyle, In The Know and more on home audio products, men’s fashion pieces, cookware, travel gear and more.
Moriba currently serves as the Director of Commerce Content at Fox Corporation where he spearheads a robust team of writers and editors to deliver quality shopping content, ranging from deals and tentpoles like Black Friday and Prime Day to evergreen executions that help readers find the best products they may not know they need.
Prior to this, Moriba has served as Lifestyle and Consumer Reviews Writer and Editor at The Daily Mail where he professionally put tech, home, fashion and kitchen products through the ringer using specific and detailed methodologies to determine if they’re worth recommending to readers.
He’s also been as a Senior Commerce Editor at Yahoo Lifestyle where he shared his editorial expertise across several beats including tech, travel, men's style and grooming, cooking and more. He also started the “Men’s Edit” commerce franchise for In The Know by Yahoo and led the SEO editorial efforts for the commerce team.
Moriba holds a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in journalism from Morehouse College. He’s currently based in New York and has a deep passion for all things digital content.
